Hyperborea: The Triumphant Return

Jun 7 2008 8:00 am

Full details here: http://www.audioresponseteam.com/hyperborea2/

Hyperborea, dream-shrouded land of mystical energies behind the north wind emerges again from occultation. We have been there once before, wide-eyed and wondering explorers. Seasoned dreamers of dreams, we now are ready to push out of the splendid city and recontact the long-wandering 11th tribe who play under spinning stars.

UPDATE: The location has been confirmed as a go and has been reconnoitered by high-speed, low-drag Audio Response Team tactical operators. It is approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours generally north of Los Angeles, directions will be posted via email and on the web on the seventh.

On the evening of June 7, 2008, we will reopen the portal to Hyperborea and travel deeper into its realms. If you want updates, directions, etc., email us .

Hyperborea is a place of beauty and wonder, suffice it to say for now that countless stars fill the sky overhead in their terrible beauty, rounded mountains huddle around and slumber in their wisdom, and there is a soft, cool breeze. Paths loop amidst the temple complex from the central focus to hidden stones and nearby peaks. Totems of ancient and unknown significance surround the focal point and are bathed in a weird, pulsating light that beckons caravans from beyond the Tanarian Hills.

Be prepared to be outdoors overnight away from civilisation as we know it. Bring warm clothes, plenty of water, blankets or a sleeping bag. You may also want something to snack on. Generally speaking, be prepared since unprepared people tend to not have a good time and make it a drag for everyone else and you don't want to be that person. There will be an area suitable for fire performances, email in advance for details. There will also be an established fire-pit, if you want a fire to stand next to, bring firewood. Further instructions will be posted or emailed with the directions. Heed them.
